Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Crafters Development Ticket Bot on Discord. By interacting with the bot you agree to be bound by the terms described below. Please read them carefully before opening a support ticket.

§ 01

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, using, or interacting with the Crafters Development Ticket Bot (hereinafter referred to as "the Bot") on the Crafters Development Discord server, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines or rules that may be communicated to you within the server.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Crafters Development ("we," "us," or "our"). Your use of the Bot signifies your complete and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.

Important: If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately cease all interaction with the Bot. Continued use of the Bot after becoming aware of any updates to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms apply to all users of the Bot without exception, regardless of the nature of their inquiry, their history with our community, or their role within the Crafters Development Discord server.

§ 02

Purpose & Scope

The Crafters Development Ticket Bot is a purpose-built Discord bot designed exclusively to manage and streamline support tickets within the official Crafters Development Discord server. It exists to facilitate direct, organized communication between users of our products and the Crafters Development staff team.

The Bot currently provides support for the following official products:

  • CraftersStaff — A comprehensive staff management plugin for Minecraft servers, featuring role assignments, audit logging, disciplinary tools, and team organization features.
  • CraftersBan — An advanced ban management and punishment system plugin for Minecraft servers with cross-server synchronization capabilities.

The scope of these Terms is limited to your interaction with the Bot, its associated ticket workflow, and any data collected through that process. These Terms do not govern your general use of the Crafters Development Discord server, which is subject to Discord's own Terms of Service and the server's community rules.

Note: Support inquiries must be directly related to the listed products. The Bot is not intended to provide support for third-party plugins, general Minecraft questions, or unrelated topics.
§ 03

Eligibility

To use the Crafters Development Ticket Bot you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  1. You must be at least 13 years of age, in accordance with Discord's minimum age requirement and our Children's Policy.
  2. You must be a member of the official Crafters Development Discord server and comply with all server-level rules and Discord's Terms of Service.
  3. You must not have been previously banned or restricted from using the ticket system or the Crafters Development Discord server as a result of a violation of these Terms.
  4. You must have a legitimate, good-faith inquiry related to one of the supported Crafters Development products.

We reserve the right to deny access to the Bot to any user who does not meet these eligibility requirements or who we have reasonable grounds to believe may abuse the system.

§ 04

Permitted Use

The Bot is intended for specific, legitimate support use cases. The following activities are explicitly permitted when using the ticket system:

  • Bug reports: Reporting reproducible bugs, unexpected behavior, or technical malfunctions in CraftersStaff or CraftersBan with sufficient detail to allow for investigation.
  • Configuration help: Requesting assistance with the setup, configuration, or customization of any supported plugin.
  • Feature inquiries: Asking questions about existing features, how they work, their intended behavior, or compatibility with your Minecraft server setup.
  • Plugin conflicts: Reporting conflicts or compatibility issues between a Crafters Development plugin and another installed plugin, with relevant details provided.
  • License and purchase inquiries: Asking about licensing terms, purchase status, or account-related questions for any supported product.
  • Feedback and suggestions: Submitting constructive, respectful feedback about existing features or requesting consideration for new functionality.
  • Honest ratings: Providing a fair and accurate rating and written review of your support experience after your ticket has been resolved and closed.
When submitting a ticket, you agree to provide clear, accurate, and complete information about your issue, including your server version, plugin version, and any relevant error messages or logs where applicable.
§ 05

Prohibited Use

The following actions are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate loss of access to the ticket system, removal from the Crafters Development Discord server, and potentially a permanent ban:

  • Opening tickets with false, fabricated, or intentionally misleading information
  • Spamming the ticket system by opening multiple tickets for the same issue without resolution
  • Using the ticket channel to harass, insult, or threaten staff members or other users
  • Attempting to exploit, reverse-engineer, or manipulate the bot's internal logic or permission system
  • Impersonating another user, a staff member, or any member of the Crafters Development team
  • Using the ticket system as a platform for advertising third-party services or products
  • Submitting tickets that contain hate speech, discriminatory content, or material that violates Discord's Community Guidelines
  • Deliberately wasting staff time by opening tickets with no genuine intent to resolve an issue
✅ Expected Behavior
  • Be honest and accurate when filling out the ticket modal
  • Describe your issue clearly with relevant context
  • Respond to staff members in a timely and respectful manner
  • Close your ticket when your issue has been resolved
  • Submit only one ticket per individual issue
  • Rate your experience fairly after the ticket is closed
  • Follow any instructions or recommendations provided by staff
  • Report abuse through proper channels, not within your own ticket

We reserve the right to determine, at our sole discretion, whether any behavior constitutes a violation of these prohibited use policies, even if not explicitly listed above.

§ 06

Ticket Data

When you open a support ticket, the Bot collects and stores certain information as part of its normal operation. This is necessary for us to manage your support request effectively and maintain an organized record of all support interactions.

The following data is collected and stored in our local database:

  • Your Discord username and associated user ID
  • Your responses to the ticket modal form, including all answers you provide
  • A unique ticket number and the timestamp of ticket creation
  • The ticket channel name and its associated category within the server
  • The username and ID of any staff member who claims or handles your ticket
  • Your rating score and written comment, if you choose to submit a rating upon ticket closure

All collected data is stored exclusively in a local database on the server infrastructure that hosts the Bot. This data is used solely to facilitate the support workflow, maintain the sequential ticket counter, and improve the quality of support provided to the Crafters community. Your data will not be sold, traded, or transferred to any external parties.

§ 07

Staff Discretion

The Crafters Development staff team possesses broad discretionary authority over the management of all support tickets. This discretion is exercised in good faith and in the interest of maintaining a functional, fair, and efficient support environment.

The staff team reserves the right to take the following actions at their sole discretion:

  • Close or archive any ticket that is deemed off-topic, irrelevant, incomplete, or in violation of these Terms
  • Reject or dismiss tickets that contain insufficient information to investigate or reproduce the reported issue
  • Merge or consolidate duplicate tickets from the same user regarding the same issue
  • Escalate tickets to senior staff or development team members when the complexity of an issue warrants it
  • Prioritize tickets based on severity, urgency, and available staff resources, without obligation to process tickets strictly in order of submission
  • Decline support for configurations, server setups, or use cases that fall outside the intended scope of the plugin

Staff decisions regarding ticket management are final. While we encourage users to communicate respectfully if they feel a decision was made in error, abusive or disrespectful responses to staff actions will not be tolerated and may result in loss of access to the support system.

§ 08

User Conduct

All users who interact with the Crafters Development Ticket Bot are expected to maintain a respectful, cooperative, and constructive standard of conduct throughout the entire support process. This applies not only to the content of your ticket submissions, but also to your behavior within ticket channels and any related communication with staff.

We expect all users to:

  • Communicate respectfully and professionally with staff members and other users at all times
  • Remain patient while awaiting a response, understanding that staff operate on a voluntary basis and response times may vary
  • Provide all requested information promptly when asked by a staff member, to facilitate efficient resolution of your issue
  • Acknowledge when an issue has been resolved and close the ticket or inform the staff member accordingly
  • Accept decisions made by staff in good faith, even when those decisions do not result in the outcome you were hoping for
Zero-tolerance policy: Harassment, threats, hate speech, or any form of abusive language directed at staff members or other users will result in immediate, permanent loss of access to the ticket system with no possibility of appeal.
§ 09

Intellectual Property

All software, source code, design assets, documentation, and related materials associated with the Crafters Development Ticket Bot, CraftersStaff, CraftersBan, and any other products developed or maintained by Crafters Development are the exclusive intellectual property of Crafters Development and its creator.

These materials are protected under Chilean Intellectual Property Law No. 17.336 and applicable international copyright conventions. All rights are reserved.

You are expressly prohibited from:

  • Copying, reproducing, modifying, or creating derivative works based on any Crafters Development software or materials without explicit written authorization
  • Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of any Crafters Development product
  • Redistributing, selling, sublicensing, or otherwise transferring any Crafters Development product or associated materials to third parties
  • Removing or obscuring any copyright notices, attribution statements, or proprietary legends from any Crafters Development materials

Any information shared by Crafters Development staff within a ticket channel remains the intellectual property of Crafters Development. You may use such information solely to resolve your personal support inquiry and may not redistribute it publicly.

§ 10

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Crafters Development Ticket Bot and all associated support services are provided "as is" and "as available," without representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Crafters Development does not warrant or guarantee that:

  • The Bot will operate without interruption, error, or delay at all times
  • Support responses will be delivered within any specific timeframe
  • All reported bugs or issues will be reproduced, confirmed, or resolved by the staff team
  • The Bot's functionality will be free from technical defects, compatibility issues, or data loss at all times
  • Support provided through the ticket system will fully resolve every issue reported

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Crafters Development disclaims all implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

§ 11

Availability

While we strive to maintain continuous availability of the Crafters Development Ticket Bot, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Bot or its associated services at all times. The Bot may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance: Planned downtime for updates, improvements, or infrastructure maintenance
  • Discord API disruptions: Service interruptions caused by Discord's own platform that are outside our control
  • Unexpected technical failures: Unanticipated software bugs, server crashes, or database issues
  • Security incidents: Temporary suspension of services while investigating or responding to a security concern
  • Capacity constraints: High volume of simultaneous requests that may temporarily degrade performance

Crafters Development is not liable for any inconvenience, data loss, or delays in support resolution that may result from periods of unavailability, whether planned or unplanned.

Status updates regarding planned maintenance will be communicated within the Crafters Development Discord server where possible. We recommend following the server's announcements channel for real-time updates.
§ 12

Suspension & Termination

Crafters Development reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or permanently revoke your access to the Ticket Bot at any time and without prior notice, should we determine — at our sole discretion — that you have violated any provision of these Terms, Discord's Terms of Service, or the Crafters Development server rules.

Grounds for suspension or termination include but are not limited to:

  • Any prohibited use as described in Section 05 of these Terms
  • Repeated submission of low-quality, irrelevant, or bad-faith tickets
  • Harassment or abusive conduct directed at staff members or other community members
  • Attempts to bypass or exploit the Bot's permission or moderation systems
  • Any behavior that disrupts the normal functioning of the support system or the community at large

Upon termination of your access, any open tickets submitted by you may be closed without resolution at the discretion of the staff team. Crafters Development is under no obligation to provide a refund, compensation, or alternative support channel to users whose access has been revoked due to a violation of these Terms.

§ 13

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Crafters Development and its creator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Crafters Development Ticket Bot or any associated services.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Loss of data resulting from Bot downtime, database errors, or server failures
  • Damages or losses arising from reliance on support advice provided through the ticket system
  • Any disruption to your Minecraft server operations resulting from following instructions provided in a support ticket
  • Any indirect harm caused by unauthorized access to ticket data resulting from security incidents beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability, under any circumstances, shall not exceed the amount you have directly paid to Crafters Development, if any, in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

§ 14

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Chile, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Chile.

Crafters Development's software and associated documentation are protected under Chilean Intellectual Property Law No. 17.336 and relevant provisions of international copyright treaties to which Chile is a signatory, including the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

§ 15

Changes to These Terms

Crafters Development reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms of Service at any time and at our sole discretion. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. We may also, at our discretion, announce significant changes within the Crafters Development Discord server.

Your continued interaction with the Crafters Development Ticket Bot after any changes to these Terms have been posted constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.

If you disagree with a future change to these Terms, you should cease using the Ticket Bot immediately and may contact us to request deletion of your stored data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
